Uniformed Bodies Assoc.
The Association was formed in 1970 under the direction of Potentate Illustrious Sir John F. Kull Jr. 33°. The by-laws were approved by Illustrious Sir John. The present bodies consist of one Noble from each participating unit. The Nobles of each unit pick the line officers and help run the association. Any member may run for office, the only stipulation being that the association can have no more than one officer in line from the same unit. The Nobles screen the requests for funds, so that each unit receives equal shares of monies raised by the association to subsidize unit Nobles participating in Shrine parades. The U.B.A. members and the Potentate appoint a Colonel of Units each year. The Colonel of Units and his Lt. Colonels and Majors are in charge of all business meeting, Ceremonials, and all Shrine Parades, Imperial Parades, and M.A.S.A. Parades.
