History in the making. 

A new unit was born at Lulu Shrine On October 2, 2004. in conjunction with the Masonic one day class,. The name of the unit is the Lulu Shrine Sheiks, and it is made up of all the new Nobles created in the Man to Mason class. The unit was created by Illustrious Sir Frank (Doc) Guinn, 2004 Potentate of Lulu Shrine. Each new noble is a member of the unit for one year. During that year the members will elect officers and become self sufficient.

 

The mission of the Sheiks is threefold:

1.      Familiarization! To familiarize each new noble with the different units and clubs at Lulu and assure that they are all members of at least one of each before the end of the year.

·        This will be accomplished using presentations by the individual clubs and units  along with..

·        Invitations to functions of the clubs and units  …and

·        Co-ordination with the Lulu Mentors

2.      Involvement! Involvement in:

a.       The circus

b.      The Rodeo

c.       The ceremonials and business meetings

d.      The parades

e.       The Philanthropy!

f.        The governing process of Lulu Shrine

3.      Fraternity…Making sure they have fun along the way.

 

The unit will be a continuous entity with this years members being replaced by next years new nobles.
