Lenape Valley

Shrine Club

Lenape Valley Shrine Club was founded in 1972.  Ill. Potentate Fred H. Straub, Jr. gave permission to a group of Nobles from Doylestown area to form a club to meet the needs of the Nobles from the Central & Upper Bucks County area.  The club took its name from the Lenni Lenape Indians later became a part of the Delaware Tribe.  The charter was granted in 1972 and was signed by the first 150 members.  This was reached by late 1973.  We are always looking for new members to help our club grow.

The club has been very active in the Temple.  Although being a small club, it became a force, winning the Club of the Year award in 1978, 1980 &1982.  Our new and larger parade float was built in 1981 and refurbished in 1992.  With a teepee and greenery and most times an Indian in full regalia, it has traveled to all but a few parades in which Lu Lu Temple has participated.

The club meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at:

Giuseppe's Pizza & Restaurant

2nd Street Pk, Richboro, PA

There is a $10 initiation fee and annual dues are $17.
