VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

 

The Haunted House is looking for groups or individuals who are interested in joining our Haunt Team! We're looking for volunteers to act and assist in all aspects of The Haunted House and associated activities.

 

 

- All participants will receive Community Service Recognition Forms and Certificates for time provided.

 

- Actors must be 18 years of age or older

 

- All organizations must provide an accurate number of students or participants for the time that you are volunteering.

 

- All actors must report to the dressing room by 6:00pm.

 

- If a cancellation occurs we must know at least one week prior to your reservation. Your organization can reschedule. If you simply just don’t show up there is no rescheduling.

 

- The Haunted House is open rain or shine, and therefore volunteers are needed rain or shine.

 

- Volunteer time is from 6:00pm to 12am (or when the last group finishes the Haunted House). Actors must complete all hours of operation. If an actor must leave before the night is up we must be notified prior to opening.

  

- Actors 18 and over participating in The Haunted House must sign a waiver that states that they do not have any medical conditions that will put them at risk for participating. Waiver includes medical conditions such as pregnancy, asthma, seizures and allergic reactions to latex. The Haunted House uses loud noises and equipment designed to scare so check with your doctor first.

  

- Actors are asked to wear something dark in color and no tennis shoes unless they are all black including the shoelaces. All actors will be provided with a costume, make-up or mask. The Haunted House tells a story and actors will be given a character role. If you are allergic to either latex or certain types of make-up please let us know at least one week before your reservation.  Actors are asked to not come already dressed in costume. Any exceptions must be approved one week prior to their reservation time.
